Legacy Giving is a planned giving program and a powerful way to make a difference in the lives of others. We appreciate your support of Citizen Diplomacy and WorldChicago by helping to bring the world together through international exchange programs.

Your support allows us to continue to bring emerging leaders from over 130 countries annually to Chicago, and to provide a rich and authentic experience. Your donation will support the costs of a local homestay, ensuring visitors genuinely exchange cultures and experience Chicago. Your gift helps emerging leaders experience the United States business culture, gaining access to our experts across key sectors such as government, energy, law and entrepreneurship. How to Contribute

Help ensure WorldChicago’s 60 year legacy of citizen diplomacy continues by giving a gift of securities, a gift in memory or honor, or by naming WorldChicago in your will. This thoughtful contribution will help to preserve our existing programs and expand our work to support future generations. It’s a simple way to make a sizeable impact.

Bequests (or gifts through a donor’s will) are the most common type of planned charitable gifts received by WorldChicago. Typically, a donor sets aside a certain dollar amount or percentage of their estate, or a specific asset to benefit WorldChicago. The donor’s estate will receive a charitable tax deduction upon his or her death when the gift is made to charity. Bequests help WorldChicago continue to promote Citizen Diplomacy and helps prepare our organization for future growth.

The official bequest language for WorldChicago is:

“I give to WorldChicago, whose office address is 309 West Washington, Suite 450, Chicago, IL 60606, ___________ (insert either a specific dollar amount or a percentage of my estate) for ______________________ (general purposes).”
